OUR SEARCH PROCESS
Our PNC is undertaking a prayerful and deliberate process of listening, discernment, and recruitment. The process includes:
- **Listening to the congregation and identifying our shared hopes through listening session and survey. (Completed)
- **Developing and approving our mission study and ministry profile. (Completed)
- Recruiting candidates through recommendations, networking, targeted mailings, and targeted advertising.
- Receiving candidates by reviewing candidate resumes, interviewing and listening to candidates, and conducting reference checks.
- Discerning the candidate best suited to serve our congregation, in accordance with PC(USA) procedures.
We are committed to treating candidates respectfully and handling their information with care. The timing of each stage will depend on the progress of the search. The committee keeps candidate names and discussions private to protect the people who may serve us. Thank you for trusting the process and for praying for those involved.
