The Village Church Worship & Arts
The Village Church choral program is free to anyone who loves to sing! Members come from churches across San Diego. This is your chance to be part of the momentum and energy that jubilant singing adds to our worship services. Join us as we bring honor to the Lord by harnessing the tremendous power of music to draw us closer to his presence.

We’ve long been known as a singing church and the 80-member Village Church Chancel Choir is integral to the life of the congregation. The camaraderie and sense of community in this choir fuels the personal and spiritual growth of each singer. Every rehearsal is an enjoyable experience. Musical literacy is not required, however previous choral experience is recommended. At this time the choir meets on Thursdays at 7:00 PM.

Adults are invited to join The Village Church Chancel Choir

  • Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 PM in the Music Room

Charles is the President of the Hymn Society of the United States and Canada and served on the Presbyterian Committee On Congregational Song which oversaw the development of the latest hymnal "Glory to God."
