The Village Church supports two missions in Kenya. The largest effort provides shelter and education for up to 70 at-risk children housed at the Elma Barnett Children’s Centre in the village of Kamonong. Since 2004, we have provided for the students’ spiritual formation, built dormitories, created classrooms, and funded scholarships to help children whose parents can longer care for them.

In Mombasa and other parts of Kenya, we partner with The Outreach Foundation to build dozens of churches and classrooms in addition to supplying beds for a center that rescues abused girls. The Village Church also helped construct a high school where 180 girls receive a Christian education.
