Help Serve the Homeless

Saturday, April 27 | 12:00 – 2:00 PM

Help serve the homeless every forth Saturday of the month at 12:00 noon. We'll serve a meal to those in need at Ventura Cove, in the Mission Bay area and share the love of Christ.

If you would like to provide baked goods like cookies, brownies etc. and drop them off at the Church, please deliver before 12:00 noon on Thursday prior to the day of service.

A reminder of what you can do and/or bring to the Branch BBQ in order to help someone in need:

It is cold outside, especially at night, so we need the following items. Any item that is clean and gently used is fine.
For example, a single old clean sweatshirt may help a person in need.

CLOTHING
1. Jackets, coats, sweat shirts and hats
2. Sleeping bags, blankets, towels
3. Jeans
4. T-shirts, shirts
5. Any personal hygiene item [preferably in a 1 gallon freezer bags] tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, deodorant etc.
6. Shoes and good socks

FOOD
1. Any type of food, homemade or store bought
2. Snacks in small packages
3. Candy bars etc.
4. Cookies, brownies etc.
5. Fruit of any kind; bananas, apples, oranges etc

Please remember that no quantity is too small or too large, please bring what you can.
