Scholar Leaders exists to encourage and enable Christian theological leaders from the Majority World for the Global Church. Their vision is to cultivate theological leaders from around the globe for lifetimes of impact in the Church and on societies. Please join us for lunch to hear from Rev. Dr. Wageeh Mikhail, Scholar Leader's Director of Engagement with Islam. Dr Mikhail joined Scholar Leaders in 2019. Before joining Scholar Leaders, he was Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Christianity at the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Cairo, Egypt. One of Dr Mikhail's current projects is the Network of Centers for Christian-Muslim Relations. He will share his approach to fostering healthy Christian engagement with Muslims in ways that avoids both polemicism and relativism, as well as loving Muslim neighbors well without wavering on commitment to the truth of the Gospel.
