Plant with Purpose – Puebla, Mexico Vision Trip

October 18-23, 2026

Meet our mission partners in Puebla, Mexico and the work of reforestation, economic-empowerment, and spiritual renewal.

WHAT IS A VISION TRIP?
Join us to experience firsthand Plant With Purpose's life-changing work amongst rural farming communities. This vision trip is a unique opportunity, as it is the first trip to the Puebla region of our Mexico program. During the trip, you'll have the opportunity to gain an understanding of Plant With Purpose's approach to restoring lives and livelihoods. With the chance to meet local staff and community members, vision trips provide an in-depth, hands-on learning experience, focused on the social, spiritual, economic, and environmental issues facing rural farmers today.

ABOUT PUEBLA, MX
Plant With Purpose works in three states (Puebla, Oaxaca, & Chiapas) in Mexico. Within these regions, almost 42% of the population lives below Mexico's national poverty line (UNDP 2021). For the primarily indigenous groups with whom we work, families depend on smallholder agriculture to meet nutritional and economic needs.

Puebla, the newest program, is supported by seven staff members who serve three sub-watersheds from the charming town of Zacapoaxtla. Farmers in the region specialize in spice production through cinnamon and pepper forestry, which are considered plants that contribute to environmental protection.

EXPERIENCE what it is like to walk along side rural farming families.

EXPLORE the causes and effects of poverty and Plant With Purpose's lasting solutions.

EQUIP yourself with the skills and knowledge to create positive change that won't end when you return home.

COST - $1450 plus airfare
