The organist serves as a crucial part of the thriving traditional music ministry of the Village Church which includes five choirs for adults, children and youth, a handbell choir, and a concert series. The Sanctuary was completed in 2008, followed shortly by the installation of the Austin-Allen organ, which has been featured the 2015 Regional Convention of the American Guild of Organists and the Spring Recital of the Palomar Chapter of the AGO. In addition to the Austin-Allen, the church also has an Allen MDS-25 in the Chapel, and possess a Yamaha CF, Bösendorfer, Steinway B and L, a Young and Chang, and a harpsichord by R.L. Black and Associates.

The Village Community Presbyterian Church, a vibrant, mission-oriented, Christ-centered congregation in north San Diego County, is seeking to hire a full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator. This position will coordinate, create and distribute content for all print, digital, and social media entities that promote the Village Church ministries and the Village Christian Foundation to the public. With the Village Christian Foundation, the position will also coordinate a planned gifts marketing campaign and provide some administrative support to the Foundation’s Board.  The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years related experience; must be a self-starter committed to the vision, mission, and values of the Church and the Foundation; be competent in MS Office Suite; have excellent writing and some photography skills; and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a highly competent, professional church organizational structure. The full-time position will be non-exempt with hourly wages and benefits.
