Sunday Worship Services
Worship is the highlight of each week at The Village Church. Whether accompanied by the voices of our 40-plus member choir on Sunday mornings or by the music of our Sunday morning contemporary service, the goal of our worship is to bring glory to God, proclaim the Good News, and build up God's people as followers of Jesus Christ. Central to all our worship is sound, relevant, Biblically-based preaching. Additionally, we offer special family services, healing services, and numerous concerts throughout the year in North County San Diego.
Contemporary Worship - 8:45 a.m.
The contemporary service at 8:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings remains faithful to the required elements of worship, but presents them in a more creative and informal contemporary style. The music accompaniment features a praise band and vocal team with an emphasis on congregational singing with the words projected on a screen. The message is delivered in a more informal style. MORE
Traditional Worship - 10:15 a.m.
Our morning traditional worship service at 10:15 a.m., reflects the rich heritage of classic Protestant worship. Hymns, a choral anthem, and formal prayers guide us in expressing our praise and prayer to God. MORE
