Holli grew up in beautiful Coeur d' Alene, Idaho and graduated from the University of Idaho.  For the past seven years she has enjoyed working as a preschool teacher and assistant to the Director of Family & Children's Ministries at Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church. When not driving her girls and their many friends to various activities, she enjoys reading and creative projects, finding seashells on the beach and spending time with friends.

"My passion is children and touching their lives through learning about Jesus and how much He loves them!"

Holli is blessed with two daughters, Sara and Megan, who attend school in Rancho Bernardo.

Juan Carlos Acosta is a San Diego native and has served in local churches for nearly fifteen years before coming to The Village Church as Director of Music Ministries in April of 2015. Juan is active as a conductor, professional tenor and educator, and currently serves on the Adjunct Faculty of Cuyamaca College as the Choral Director. Mr. Acosta has held previous positions at First United Methodist Church, Chula Vista, Pacific Beach Presbyterian Church, the San Diego Children’s Choir, the Chula Vista School for the Creative and Performing Arts and the Pacific Academy of Ecclesiastical Music. He holds a Bachelors of Music Education and a Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from San Diego State University where he was named Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year and inducted into the music honor society Pi Kappa Lambda upon completing his Masters Degree. In January of 2015 Juan made his conducting debut with the Vancouver Chamber Choir and had his arrangement of “America the Beautiful” performed as part of the pregame ceremony of the College Football National Championship Game. Juan is the proud husband of Andrea and father to Samuel, and when he isn’t making music or spending time with his family he enjoys cycling and surfing.

Pam began teaching at “Village” in 1977. She has been a witness to our school grow, change and become better every year. Pam served under Carol Doughty (our fearless leader for 33 years) as her assistant director. After Carol retired Pam was hired as the director in 2004. She is honored to serve our incredibly awesome teachers and wonderful families.

Pam loves time with her family!!! Pam married her husband Bruce in 1988 and are blessed with their daughter Noelle. Our family enjoys our “PLAYTIME”; whether it's riding our four-wheel drive vehicles, exploring Baja or snorkeling in Hawaii; we love to play together. Our family motto: NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS IT’S ALL PART OF THE ADVENTURE! Pam enjoys reading, staying fit and spending time with friends or with any of her 5 siblings. Life is a gift; savor every moment.

Suzy comes to us after 23 years with Jack in the Box where she served as Senior Director of Information Technology. In addition to her business experience, she had also been a member of the Lakeside Community Presbyterian Church for 27 years, serving in multiple volunteer positions as well as serving 3 terms as an Elder on Session.

Suzy has been married to Henry for 31 years, and they both joined The Village Church in February, 2014. They have two children, Ross, 28, who is married and lives in Charlotte, N.C., and Michelle, 26, who lives in Marina del Rey.

Tyler Allred

Tyler Allred graduated from UCSD with a double major in history and religion. He worked for nine years as a campus staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in San Diego on the campuses of MiraCosta College, Palomar College and Cal State University San Marcos. He loves taking deep truths of scripture and packaging them in a way that students of all ages can understand and apply; some of his greatest passions are evangelism, discipleship and developing leaders for God’s Kingdom. 

Tyler is the author of Deeply Rooted, a handbook that is being used on college campuses around the country to disciple students through the Apostles’ Creed. 

He is currently finishing up a Masters of Divinity with Fuller Theological Seminary and is pursuing ordination.

He lives in Oceanside, CA with his wife, Melanie, and their daughters, Penelope and Jane.
